Chris Quinn is a world traveler, entrepreneur, and outdoor enthusiast. He was born in England, but his life has taken him to various places across the world, including Germany, Gibraltar, Canada, Wales, United Arab Emirates, and many others. Chris grew up on army bases around the world due to his father’s career in the British Army, which gave him the opportunity to experience various cultures and lifestyles.
Chris developed a passion for skydiving at a young age and at 14 years old started with packing parachutes at the Rhine Army Parachute Association in Bad Lippespringe, Germany. Later on, owning a skydiving business for over a decade, which mainly focused on video jumps, tandem skydives, and teaching skydivers. He has competed at provincial and national levels.
Apart from skydiving, Chris has also worked on cattle ranches in Canada, where he learned to drive and rope cattle and even rode bulls at a few local rodeos. He has also worked in various hotel and bar management jobs across the UK, from Michelin Star hotels to small local pubs. Chris owned and operated successful fencing, landscaping and skid steer company in Northern Alberta for many years (He loves his heavy equipment)
Chris met his wife Shannon while skydiving at Pacific Skydivers in Pitt Meadows. Shannon is a commercial fixed-wing and rotary pilot who has flown jets, helicopters, and medivacs. They moved to Campbell River in 2010, where they fell in love with the community and the natural beauty, and have since put down roots, raising their two sons, Finnegan and Kallen.
